An Unsaid Love Poem by Rajendran Yesheswini

An Unsaid Love

Rating: 5.0

An usual was the place,
My eyes had fallen upon.
Unique the way I felt,
A bliss of magic current,
Through my mind found a route to my heart.

Who were you, not known to me
But dared to grab my priority.
Thinking of you day and night,
Why that felt, I wonder.
Every inch of you, I tried to know
Though you were here but not near.

Wanted to express the way I felt,
Upon my knees I were
Begging for a chance to almighty
To open up my heart for you to feel,
Flowers and messages
Only that was I could,
Was it a fear or over was the respect,
That kept away always from you.

A day probably came,
May be made you feel, what I felt for you.
Never we spoke, and never we talked
Unsaid you said hence was a NO,
Never you wanted to know for what I longed.
The gestures you made, Ignorance that was.
Tears, cries and prayers, I secretly gifted
Love, friendship and hopes rewarded
Changed whatever they meant.

For days and Days, Lost were my thoughts,
Embarrassed was I for not being Trusted,
Made them wander around u again.
Known that you may travel a long way,
Stupidly gazed around you.
What could be done was nothing
May be that was my fate
May be that was my destiny.

Unromantic was the way for my true love
Never could turn towards but always repelled you.
Never made you Interfere in a life that you may never belong to
A path you would never wish to travel along
Made you choose a different road.

Nobody else above you still,
Why only you and nobody else,
Was it a last time or,
Will I see you ever again?
Has the charm and smile forever gone?
Is a bit of me really remaining?
Repeated the verses in my depressed mind.

The hate to love you brings out prayers,
To keep you away from sorrows and pain
Like the one felt by me
Hope to let my very first love
Though unsaid but pious,
Could ever get a chance to know:
Never was I so evil
Only longed for your respected love.

Very heartfelt. An insightful depiction of the power of love - the feelings are truly overpowering, as captured in the poem. Thanks for sharing Rajendran.

The pain and angst of unrequited love has been penned so nicely. The question ever tormenting- - Does she ever remember me? To quote from this beautiful poem- - Will I see you ever again? Has the charm and smile forever gone? Is a bit of me really remaining? Repeated the verses in my depressed mind.
