The hospital visits,
...scared
...confused.

Going home so I could sleep,
...worried
...thinking.

During your contractions,
...did not understand
...never a helping hand.

At the time of delivery,
...I had a fear
...I had a tear.

My eyes,
...were never seen leaking,

My face,
...no one noticed my grin.

I am going to be a good Father,
...did not know.
You're going to be a good Mother,
...every day in a row.

Wondering if you are happy,
...everybody noticed.
Wondering if I was happy,
...nobody noticed.
