An Untold Story Poem by Asma Khan

An Untold Story

Rating: 4.7

Crimson red falls on the ground
laying a carpet of hopes and tears
walking past me with flying desires
laughing at my loneliness

Empty pale blue eyes starred at me
showing he didn't sleep for many nights
asking me many questions and
answering them in his own mind

Ashed burnt heart sobbed to death
calling out his name in the wilderness of time
drifting away from my hands just like you
closing the eyes of all awakened dreams

Worn faded voice whispered my name
admiring the crystal dreams I ever had
gathering a handful of hopes in my lap and
grabbing the treasure of his memories

Heart broken gloomy face of his displayed
falling stars from his eyes just like mine
bearing the burden of parting each other alone
telling me silently an untold story of his love for me.
