Ancestors' Corridor Poem by Edith Niemeyer

Ancestors' Corridor

Within
Ancestors' Corridor
Entranced we came
Each of us (all 5 of 5)
Came we upon
lightly's steps
Leaving imprints
among forgetfuls'
longing.
Fleeting rememberences

Veils' are
shimmering glistening
our souls shattering

So then passage of ticks' lost tock;
does stand still

Our wordless wondering..
Understandings' stretched thin

Why tiz torns' rip only seen
by 5?

Can we finally put to rest
loss of feelings

Await we must
for longings' Veils' entertwine
Within
Ancestors' Corridor

SO..

Entranced we came.
All 5 of 5
Came we

our lightly steps'
among forgetfuls'
longing

Veils'
shimmering
glistening

our souls shattering

So then passage of ticks' lost tock stands still

Our wordless wondering..

Why tiz torns' rip only seen
by 5?

Can we finally put to rest

feelings of loss

Awaiting...

longing

Veils'
shimmering
glistening

our shattered souls

amongst passage of ticks' lost tock

shimmer

glisten

our souls shatter
then...

a voiceless thought becomes
a reckoning

The IMPORTANCE and the NEED of
5 of 5
Awaiting at ANCESTORS' CORRIDOR Then

IT
Echoes through

ETERNITYS' CORRIDOR.
