And All I Needed (Sonnet #120) Poem by Tina Baaklini

And All I Needed (Sonnet #120)

And all I needed was you to feel born
Anew, to believe in love and have faith
That life still unfolds new joy, new morns
That one heart can be worth the human race.

And all I needed was you to feel love
Not any love, unconditional, divine
Through thick and thin, beyond what I dreamed of
A love that comes only once in a lifetime.

Hearts come with unique imprints, they are homes
Ours are two halves destined to merge, O soulmate
You sow in my soul roses with no thorns
So tender is your heart, O my gift from fate.

All I needed was your presence in my life
To blossom, have faith in myself and thrive.
