Lyrics that speak the words I feel
So perfectly labeling what is real
The torture inside me
The sadness
The pain
The hot tears I try so hard to restrain
There’s a cloud hanging over my head
Filled with nothing but the utmost dread
My future seems nothing but hopeless and bleak
I must feign strength or they’ll see me as weak
So many things I need to juggle
Keeping the balance is the hardest struggle
Begging that things will soon come to an end
If after reading my rhymes, you notice a trend
Don’t be afraid, for I am too coward to leave
Or some other lie I’ll be sure to conceive
And until the time I bid this world goodbye
I’ll continue to express only with an occasional sigh
