And I Am Waiting For The Bus Poem by Emily Krauss

And I Am Waiting For The Bus

And I'm waiting For the Bus
And I stand outside
In Northern Ontario
In the cold
Waiting, waiting, waiting
For the bus
But not forever or ever
Or forever

As I stand outside
Waiting for the bus
In the freezing cold
I fall into a world
Of day dreaming
About my goals
And plans for
The future

And I stand outside
In Northern Ontario
In the cold
Waiting, waiting, waiting
For the bus
But not forever or ever
Or forever

And I stand
And I stand
And I stand
And let thoughts
Flow through my head
While thinking, thinking, thinking
About, anything and everything.

And I stand
Outside in Northern Ontario
In the cold
Waiting, waiting, waiting
For the bus
But not forever or ever
Or forever

And then
Out of the blue
To my imagination
The bus arrives
In no time at all
It seems

And I stand
Outside in Northern Ontario
In the cold
Waiting, waiting, waiting
For the bus
But not forever or ever
Or forever

And on the bus
I warm up
And never want
To leave the warmth
For the Northern Ontario cold
Again or again or again

And I stand
Outside in Northern Ontario
In the cold
Waiting, waiting, waiting
For the bus
But not forever or ever
Or forever
