And My Distractions Poem by sean north

And My Distractions

When we try to
let you go then

You dig your heels
in hardest

Wonder what will
finally convince me

And if i said ok
that's enough

Then for a 1000
miles more

Still you try
and drag me

An if i cancel my
subscriptions

You only double
all of my hungers

aNd mY diStRactiOns

So as i pay
for your dinner

You think you'r
a winner

i can see i'm
getting thinner
