And Never Look Back Poem by ART PAUL SCHLOSSER

And Never Look Back

The seconds, the minutes the hours the weeks the years
The moments of joy the moments of tears
The time wasted on arguments that didn't really matter
The work, the fixing and climbing up ladders
In the end did you really live your life
Or was it just a grinding at the mill of stress and strife
Some say you haven't really lived unless you ate a brat
But you can't really tell your alive by how fat you got
I mean it's not eating, sleeping, working and then dying
It's laughing, dreaming, loving and sometimes crying
It's finding a treasure and then sharing it with many others
Becoming something more than just Fathers and Mothers
Building a world of hope beyond despair
If you're really alive then you will care
I dare you to do something more than just the ordinary
So that you can live a full life before your buried
I'm sure we will all go to heaven if we trust the immortal one
But God doesn't want us to live our life without any fun
See the world
Tell the story
Paint the picture
Dance for glory
Climb the Mountain
More and Mory
And never look back
