And Now She's Gone Poem by Lloyd Cresci

And Now She's Gone

I love the highlights in her hair,
When we're walking in the sun.
I love the sound of her sweet voice,
For me it's the only one.
I'm sure I will end up with her,
Forsaking all the rest.
I know her well enough right now,
To know that she's the best.
When I feel her next to me,
I know I want to keep her near.
Looking in her eyes tonight,
I see my future bright and clear.
Through all the wonderful years to come,
I'll be glad that she chose me.
Everyone that we'll ever know,
Will know we're happy as can be.
