And So She Wears The Night

and so she wears the night
wondering aimlessly through the streets
she walks with no fright but with steady feet
she's got a book in her hand
she's got a song in her heart
and she sings it to the stars
she says calm down my friend
we shall never be apart
their talk doesn't kill it only scars
