And what precisely
Are the people
Consenting to
When they vote
For a politician
Who falsely promises
Them
Whatever he feels
Will get him elected
Only to then
Break every promise
He had made
Surely
This is in actuality
Being governed
Without consent
Which is
The very definition
Of slavery.
