Andersen Makes Us Laugh

'Twas The Ugly Duckling
Fancying itself a swan
Having supper with Puss-in-Boots
Under the sea.

The Little Mermaid rose
To Sebastian's morning summons
She was dreaming of her prince
In The Emperor's New Clothes.

The Tin Soldier returned
With The Tinder Box
To seek and to wed
The Princess and The Pea.

Now all are glad
For well loved tales
Told by Christian Andersen
The lonely stork.
