Andrew - Poem by melissa fox

How do you sit there?
How do you cry?
Is it something in the air?
I can’t figure it out
I can’t answer why
You who lacks the happiness
You who trys for the pain

How do you sit there?
How do you cry?
How can you live in a whirlwind of saddness
And shut me out?
I have stopped the mountains
Thrown you a ladder
Thrown you a rope
Given you the stairs to freedom
And you shove it back in my face

How do you sit there?
How do you cry?
You don’t think I know?
You don’t think I see?

I know
I know
I know
Oh I know

I should just shove off
Give up
Stop Caring
Be done

But I can’t
Oh I cant

Because I care
And anywhere
You go, I’ll be by your side
Because I’m your friend
And that’s where I reside
Is by your side

I'm calling you selfish
I’m calling you a pain
I'm calling you lost

So many friends
So many friends
Do you know?
Do you see?
They all wanna help you
Whatever you want them to do
And you sit there

And deliberatly SULK
In the pain that has
Given up on you

I know
I know
I know

Your life is so hard
Your pain
Na ïve

But my little
Naïve brain
Still knows how to

So don’t tell me
Your life is hard
Don’t tell me you need time
Because I have given you time
All of my time
All of her time
All of the time in the world
That you could need
You WANT to be sad?
Be sad?
WHY? ?

How can you sit there?
How can you cry?
I don’t know why

I still

When have you cared about me?
When have you asked how my life was?
Exactly you don’t

So fine

Be that way

I’ll be the stupid little girl who cared

And wasn’t noticed

but I wont be there forever

I’ll be gone
And some poor
Will take my place
And learn that you don’t care

You heard me
You don’t care

Well I do

So there

How can you sit there?
How can you cry?

Just tell me how….

So many times I've felt that same way.. but I've never been able to put words to it. Very nice. I love it!
