Angel - Poem by steve bman

You look with those amazing eyes
Keep my guard up, but taken by surprise
My heart whimpers for you tonight
Escalating chemistry was taught so right

Trying to keep up with those words we talked
Unable to realise why you haven’t walked
Running away from poison dreams
Knowing my feelings, entertaining my means

A glimmer of light from millions of stars
Gives us thoughts of who we are
An angel descends from heavens above
Takes my hand, then showers with love

Her beauty is a work of art
As I hear songs, with the beat of my heart
She has wisdom which amazes my brain
Could never feel like this again

Holding me tightly feelings surreal
Along with the stars my heart is real
To know a love as tense as you give
Gives a reason for a life to live

The effortless warmth of your touch
The boundless energy of your soul as such
Touches places which I never knew I had
Never be lonely, could never be sad

No other can caress the way you caress
No other can say the things you say
This brightens up the darkest of days
Thank you angel, you’re the best
