Angel Poem by Sofia Moreno

Angel

Rating: 1.0

There he is, waiting for her
His blue eyes wandering
From bird to worm, it
Is all but lost, and she
Will hunt his dreams,
Make him sweat:
The way her skin reflects
The hot and shiny rays,
The way her hair moves
In a continuous dance
With the wind and air,
The way the horizon
Changes to make her
Glide on the earth
And his eyes still look
For the girl that became
An angel for himself
But she is not close
Not anywhere near,
Indeed she seems lost.

But his eyes still scream,
For the hope that runs away
Away from him
Through his bare fingers…

And he will wait for her…

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

This almost seems like a tango of feelings, temptation and denial.Nice contrast and depth.Good angel or bad?
