Take my hand and come with me
The angel from your sweetest dreams
And for you I'm always there
The demon from your worst nightmares

I live my life in balance
With good and bad in romance
This is how I'm forced to be
I cant hide from my destiny

I know for sure pain is a part
Of this constant battle in my heart
It takes so much to just hold on
But for the ones I love I'll live long

But words are dead
On my fingertips
But words are dead
As my fingers flit

The ink dries up
Spilt across the page
The ink dries up
Growing old of age

And all the things
I thought were real
Were all the things
That stayed concealed

Take my hand and come with me
The angel from your sweetest dreams
And for you I'm always there
The demon from your worst nightmare

Take your pick of which I am
A masochistic lion or stupid lamb
I know my place inside that book
Despite the toll that knowledge took

Now there is nothing left to do
Except to take what I already withdrew
It's a pity that it had to go like this
But that's life when angels and demons exist
