Angel Tears Poem by Donna Golden

Angel Tears

Rating: 5.0

Her tears were real. The pain she did feel.
Abandoned, sad and far away from home. She'd
taken refuge in a lost world. Not being just
another girl, she was left feeling confused
and all alone. He made her promises that brought
her down from above. Only to learn this was never
a vision of true love.

Angel tears suddenly appear. She questions why
she ever came here. Wanting to believe but
had been deceived it was time to fly. There would
be no sad good bye for he was gone. Leaving her
the only choice to forgive and move on. As she
gracefully and humbly floats away and disappears,
she'll leave for him her angel tears.
