Have you ever noticed the cracks in the sky
light shining through so bright
I saw a crack that shone its light
I thought I'd never seen such a sight
whispered clouds grew fainter still
and I was locked their as if against my own will
my heart flew as if called by the skies
in return for the favour they drew to my eyes
the light flickered like a flame in a candle
and I knew someone was closing the clouds by their handle
but before it closed I swore I heard a name
whispered against the clouds again and again
and standing there I gazed apon the voice
again held their against my choice
for walking among the heaven's cloudy medow
I saw the gleaming light fade apon a shadow
the clouds then blocked the angel and his light did fade
but still I heard the silvery voice
that spoke my name
