A melody, so sweet and true
From a bird upon a branch,
And an angel on a cloud
Whose head was bowed o’er hands in prayer;
It was she, a child, had made the song so sweet.
Then a sky so deeply blue
With drifts of multicolored hue,
And an angel on a cloud
Who had the wings of a butterfly
Outlined against the blue, that was so deep.
And oh, the song of the wind
In silver tones so light and true,
And an angel on a cloud
With long wings blowing silken, frail;
A Heaven's psaltery, so sweet, so deep.
Lovely dreamy write Kate, thanks for sharing it with us all, most enjoyable, Lynda xx
May you always know the joy of the angels. Beautiful write, Kate. Warmest regards, Sandra

Great imagery! I could almost hear the music in the background!
