Angels Of Darkness Poem by Stewie Johnson

Angels Of Darkness

Angels have a wish to be like their brothers,
They work and pray for themselves,
They are not the perfection of their brothers,
Cast out from whence they we were,
Conflict is a their power,

A sweeping mist clings to them forever,
Its stagnant stench reveals its darkness,
Breaking bonds of perfection,
Inflicting wounds, its anger bleeds jealousy,
They will always look up,

Angels of darkness,
Born from the light,
Brought up in the dark,
Death disguised and the leader,
They all transgress,

“All mankind beware!
They will try to find us.

Thrown down,
They hide their true face,

Recognise the stench,
They promise peace, but deliver agony and destruction,

Stay Away,

Run.”

These are angels that wish in the dark.
