Anger Poem by Zachary Jancewicz

Anger

Love is powerful.
Happiness isn't bad.
You're enough
and you have to accept yourself.
Unless in a moment you lose everything,
even your control,
and you'll feel something more powerful
than you've ever known,
and you're not enough anymore.
You can't accept that,
you won't accept it.
That pointless choice.
Left where nothing's right.
or
Right where nothing's left.
But there's no other way in front of you.
Cause everything's wrong.
So you stair for a moment.
And to make everyone angry,
or maybe just to please yourself,
you go straight in between
of two conflicted ways.
Into the middle of the bushes and thorns.
Trying to do the right thing,
but having something left.
Don't know what you're doing,
but moving forward,
through sharp thorns,
and the wild unknown way that,
no one has ever gone.
Being
once more right but with something left,
once more left but with something right.
And cousing more and more pain,
by taking it from others,
who comes following you,
when most unexpected and unwanted,
there comes a moment that demonstrates you.
YOU can't any more move forward that way.
The way that has never been true.
