Angles In Monsters Poem by Dillon Pinfold

Angles In Monsters

I’ve found angles in the darkest of places,
seen devils hide behind the nicest faces.

I’ve seen so called devils and monsters bare hearts of light,
while “upstanding” men and angles acted with hearts like twisted night.

Society taught, monsters are ugly, strange, wild and fearful,
Life taught, they’re well kept, clean cut, nice and cheerful.

So next time you’re dancing with an angle and they spin you to and fro,
be sure they’re not a devil, waiting for the right point to let you go.

Wonderful people sometimes do terrible things and terrible people sometimes do wonderful things. I like the articulation, penning and insight of the poem. A good piece indeed. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
