Angry At Myself Poem by Weldon Davis

Angry At Myself

Angry at myself
Hurt
No work
Waste of time
waste of talent
Jerk

Smile for no reason
Walking tall
No dollars
No smokes
At all

Hood point man
Pass the joint man
Ramen noodles
Chicken salad sandwiches
Angry at myself
I can't stand BI$%hes

Sleep with fishes
Wake up
Pop pills
Grant white girl wishes
Roll hard stay real

Too smart for my own good
Break hearts
My hood
Torn apart
Broken windows
Dogs barking
3 AM
Angry at myself
Again

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This poem was written in 2006, and since then I have come to a completely different perspective about myself and life in general, I chose to put this poem on the site as a testament of just how much one's view of life can dramatically change, if one gives their self a break
