Animal Rights(The Unluckiest Snake) Poem by U Win Kyi

Animal Rights(The Unluckiest Snake)

After I was disguised by Satan Lucifer,
I become no more a lovely creature.
I beguiled Eve to eat the fruit which was forbidden.
She asked her husband,
the first man called Adam,
who ate as well,
thus committing a sin so they were expelled,
from the Garden Of Paradise,
for the rest of their lives,
down to the present earth,
after provoking the God's wrath.

As Lucifer is burning in fire of hell,
I have been living under the curse of spell.
I become the symbol of evil,
which is not of my own will.

The most unluckiest animal is the snake,
a poor creature God has ever made.

Some people struck my head
until it profusely bled,
leading almost to my death.
I bit the heel in defence
and then to the forest I fled.
