I'm here waitin' for my owners
But it's Sunday, you see
They have gone to church
And don't have the time for me.

But it really doesn't matter
Because God is here as well
I feel Him in my heart
And it kinda makes it swell.

I don't think anyone realizes
That an animal can pray
Folks hear the heartfelt sound
Of a moo, a bark or bray.

But they don't know the message
Is one that we have too
That God is always with us
Just the same as it is for you.

So remember on a Sunday
Or any time throughout any day
Your animal may be praying
For we have a lot to say!
