To sustain,
Sustain and survive,
O, you, food grain,

To survive,
Survive and sustain,
O, give you,
Give you, food grain,
Food grain
To the soul,
The soul so hungry
And sick,
Seeking for alms,
Alms divine,
Looking, looking desperately
With misery,
Begging pity.
