A hope anew for Indians all;
A spark that set aflame most hearts;
A road that leads to righteous ends;
A mind that thinks of freedom new.

A fast that captured many souls;
A chant that caught the lips of youth;
A speech that lured global Indians;
A song that turned a haunt aloud!

A soul that followed Gandhi’s steps;
A heart that loves all fellowmen;
A man who fights corrupt brethren;
A voice who vows for justice’s sake.

A phenomenon new to world;
A brave who wakes the lion-hearts;
A call that’s clarion and noble;
A freedom fighter with great cause!
