You once asked me if I could have anything what would it be?
I looked into your eyes, took a deep breath, and said, “Serenity.”
In the past year you have changed my life.
I found that peace of mind when you made me your wife.
Because of you, my whole life has changed.
A new home, new family, and a new last name.
You’ve shown me the meaning of true love.
And have proven yourself no matter what I’ve done.
It’s been a year – three hundred and sixty five days.
And day after day I continue to be amazed.
Amazed by your love and patience and trust.
I never knew I could love anyone this much.
So, today on this the fourteenth of June two thousand and seven.
I know that God sent you straight down from heaven.
He molded you and created you specifically for me.
To show me how beautiful real love can be.
