she ain't going no where
she cling
to him
like a hook fingered burr
she leak
gobs of venom
into the canals
from where you lick
your cracked lipped sips
she waiting for you
to slip
on your forked tongue
she look for your soiled sheets
picking out the crust
from your eyes
she suck the sweetness of his breath
and expel it tainted
with regurgitation
she ain't going no where
because she was always
the course the river had to run
she corrode you and
your smooth security
she eat away at you
like acid bubbling the laquer
on the inlaid wood
of the hall table.
