Believing In Dragons Poem by sherrie tappenden

Believing In Dragons

Rating: 4.5

break with me
the bread, the wine,
the scales from my skin
shed to reveal
the things I would hide.
break with me
the chains that we keep
tight in our eyes,
the waves that repeat
again and again.
