Another Day Poem by Paritosh Dhawan

Another Day

Another argument another fight
Another try deciding what's right
today again I told them that its you who made the call
Then its your luck whether I stand tall or fall
I'm trying to do what I never wanted like I always tried
Still you look at my flaws & say that your not satisfied
' we can't see your hard work' Such phrase are what I hate & hated
What does that mean? , how can mental labor be calculated?
I wanted to do something else which is new to you
You termed it impractical b'coz about it nothing you knew
I said I wanted to try but my sound faded before reaching the other side
So today again like always it was it was a joy-ride
Another hour spent wasting energy of heart body & mind
Then another half an hour crying for peace, I'm unable to find
Same thoughts persists after so many such discussions
Even the sound of my tears is still fresh on hearts cushion
Will it ever end or we'll end without ending it
For this story 'a happy ending ' might be a myth
