Another Day Poem by Ojeikpo Elijah

Another Day

Rating: 5.0

There's always another day
The night has to pass by my son.
It always changes the way we live.
Our thoughts are not as same as we will be tomorrow.
Our minds keep on growing - an art of learning.

If our shoes will keep us moving forward,
Few met roads will deteriorate in mind.
Because life is ever changing
Whether odd or even are human
Till we finally reach the best place to breathe.

We can't save our pretty face
Neither clothes our body with immortality
You will find a treasure that has a bunch of best lessons in life
Once in a while, many will turn you down
But they will be a reason putting you on the top.

Another day has to pass by my friend
So never be scared if changes are waiting in the end
I wouldn't be scared of night
If I rise to another day
Just keep on moving and never look back
It will be the greatest ride you will never forget.
My son, the past is a profitless treasure.
