Another Day
Drink a toast
With butter and jam
Eat a slice of orange juice
Chew your coffee
Bite your milk
Swallow a donut hole
Close the newspaper
Kiss the dog and
Slam the door
Break the fast in a brand
New way
And savor the contradiction.
