Another day has gone by
Without you in my life
Another day lost
Without me, your wife

Another day has slipped away
I haven’t seen your face.
Another day wasted
Gone with no grace.

Another day you are not here
Not even by my side
Another day forgotten
Along with my pride.

Another day faded
Gently out of sight
Another day ruined
This is not alright.

I miss you more today
Than any other time
I love you more right now
While writing this rhyme.

When it’s time for bed
And my world is dark and grey
You are not beside me
To help me face another day.

Another day alone,
Another day so blue
Another day empty,
Because I’m without you!
