Another Day Poem by Elizabeth Leung

Another Day

Rating: 2.5

the rock and the stone,
they sit at the beach
from summer to summer.
and winter to winter.

cold salty breeze,
warm sunshine,
running children,
sounds of joy and laughter
everyday,
was a beautiful day.

but the rock has to crumble
and the stone has to drift.
the glowing moon gives a
wispy sigh, the stars above
sing a song of farewell.

another day will pass, but
perhaps not as beautiful,
as before.
