Another Day Poem by Noel Guzman

Another Day

If I were to die tomorrow would you care?
would you care if I hung from the ceiling?
Would you care if I were to sink to a watery grave?

Would anyone?

Would anyone shead even a single tear for me?
Would I be a forgotten memory in everyone's mind?
What would mean to everyone once I'm gone?

Will I be fulfilled?

Will I leave without regrets?
Will I die in a pool of my blood?
Or will I die asleep?

Only time will tell.

I hold the urge for now,
Wait another day.
For now I lay here thinking,
'One more day ... one more nightmare...'
