With so much hope pinned to one moment
I threw myself out to you
I was always there
but you were always gone
Our time spent together
was time wasted
And all your yesterdays
have lighted fools
You played hard to get
it seems I fell for it
I always looked at you
but never really saw you
In a silent way
it kills me
