Your Depths - Poem by Joe Prieto

the people weak, the devil speaks
manipulates their voices

my thoughts, are jumbled noises

morale that's fading, my life is jading
as you always used to say,

dont give up things will start to look up
as the light turns into grey

the world is right i well as might
give up and lose it all

out of its depths i was brought to life
and into its depths i’ll fall
