Another Last Love Poem by sabrina kiloloma

Another Last Love

Staring down at the chain
My broken heart is filled with pain
This is all I have
This is all when the light went dim

Nothing left to hold onto
Nothing more for me to do
Slowly and quietly we grew apart
Slowly and quietly from his heart

Shattered and broken was I
Shattered and broken when he said goodbye
Endless tears rolled down my cheek
Endless tears that left me weak

Memories haunted night and day
Memories that turned and went the wrong way
Reminding me that now he’s gone
Reminding me that the sun once shone

Who’s to blame when we lost the magic?
Who’s to blame when our love turned tragic?
Innocent and true with more than just lust
Innocent and true are now just the past

Never will I forget those happy times
Never will I forget when he was mine
In my heart he’ll always be
In my soul he belongs to me
