Another Lonely Night Poem by jonathan levy

Another Lonely Night

Another failure,
One pain after another,
No surpirse here,
That I have no lover,
Noone to hold,
Or tell me its alright,
All by myself again,
Another lonely night,
And as night becomes day,
Still noone beside me,
Why do I love soo much,
And everyone deny me,
When all I want is to be loved,
That is not too much to ask,
To wake up next to you,
As I did in the past,

The past just a memory,
So fond of it yet,
One thing always struck me,
Something I could never quite get,
When people say 'I Love You',
And promise the world to each other,
They somehow get derailed in their jouney,
And end up with a different lover,
They pretend to be happy,
In spite of the fact,
The depression starts to take over,
And they change how they act.

Never quite the same,
Don't know what is missing,
Other than you, my heart, and your smiling,
I wish I were still kissing.
