Another Man's Treasure Poem by Faith Elizabeth Brigham

Another Man's Treasure

Rating: 4.5

i finally parted with
the old living room coffee table
leaving it curb-side for
the waste technician
only to discover
within the hour
it had been snatched up
by the garbage pickers

do you agree with
the old saying
'one man's trash
is another man's treasure'
ido
believe it-
it's true

Sometimes Faith, I cannot believe peoples choice on these things. Who would want what I don't want, there's no accounting for taste. Most things I put out are not my choosing, naff and past redemption! ! ! ! Nothing amazes me anymore! ! Such a true statement in this poem. Love Ernestine XXX
