Another Perspective Poem by Chris Majors

Another Perspective

Rating: 4.0

Black Petals of delayed conception
A life that was taken, then ressurected
Rejected by love, corrupted by sin
An innocent child is born again

With a second chance to test the time
Given only the gift we call life
Simple it seems but it is not so
Alone in the dark, in the world, in the cold

The word you read it fills your soul
It gives you power and it gives you hope
Is it enough what your feeling within
The feeling of love drowned by sin

So with one last breath the pain subsides
The vision is clear, set straight in your mind
Grasp your faith and close your eyes
When you awake the world will die

Withered and broken the way i foresaw
Was it really ever there........at all?
