Another Tragic Love Story Poem by Jessie Marie Ray

Another Tragic Love Story

I close my eyes and remember the last time I saw you
I had finally gotten you to admit you loved me too
But fate is cruel and you lost your life
And I lost my chance to be your wife
I can’t live on without you by my side
I can’t stand the thought that you had died
My eyes are swollen from all the tears I shed
I was curled up in a ball in the middle of my bed
When I realized that loosing you was my biggest fear
For that one I she some more tears
I knew that I had lost track of my light
I knew that I had finally given up the fight
I picked up the razor and slit my wrist
I did the other one but this one with a twist
All the blood came out in a constant flow
I was glad I was going to die in the moonlights glow
I smile creped onto my face
And now it’s your turn to begin the chase
