Answer Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Answer

Answer

Do not ask:
"Where was that? "

Do not know,
In a mall, or maybe
In a shop or roadside...

Wherever it was, was,
Whoever she was, was.

She had a paper bag,
As she filled its sides bulged.

I stood far and watched
Like poet, not spy.

Guessed they were oranges.

Somehow, we, fell in talk,
Sought my help: "Fill it up, "
And they were potatoes.

In dream had dreams,
Great are fantasies,
So, dreams can be fun.

Wonder what experts say:
"Meaningful? " or "Nonsense? "

Whatever meant, is or was
It sure has filled my mind
And now is, in writing.

Before and while sleep
Had no thought of shopping,
Nor thought of the women,
So, what can Sigmund say?

Deserts have the reply
With magic of dervish
Or maybe old Natives!
