Anti Bullying Poem

Rating: 5.0

Why do people feel the need to bully?
No one ever understands you fully
They just judge a book by its cover
What's on the inside they will never discover?

You should know that your words truly hurt
When you decide to treat us like dirt
You take someone's feelings and tear them apart
All they are left with is a broken heart

The words you say leave scars that don't fade
But know this we're stronger than the games you've played
We may be vulnerable but we won't give in
Because we will never let you win

Remember you're beautiful no matter what they say
Not a person in the world can ever take that away
I know sometimes you think you don't belong
But know deep down that somehow you're wrong

Everyone is the way they are meant to be
So shine bright beautiful people be wild and free
Think of all the wonderful things
You are a butterfly that earned its wings

If you're a bully listen up! ! !
It does not make you look cool being mean and hurting someone.
Think of it this way:
How would you feel if you were in their shoes?

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I wrote this poem for everyone who has been or is being bullied
you are not alone and you're stronger than them.
you may not believe this but you will make it through.
Hey i didnt believe it either but here i am still healthy
and alive.
I stilll get bullied online sometimes but i
report them and blocked them and now they are out of my
life.
Do i still think think about it? yeah i do and
sometimes it gets me down but people have told me that
just because your down doesnt make you weak because everytime
you get back up it makes you a little bit stronger than
you were before.
I know its something that can never truly be forgotten but
dont give up stay strong be determined and never shy away from
who you are. SPEAK OUT AND BE HEARD.
I love you all. xx
