Anwarul Azim Poem by Chan Mongol

Anwarul Azim

ANWARUL AZIM
by: Chan Mongol

He was a revolutionary;

I met him in 1976, in July!

He was sharp in penning;

He was brilliant in writing!

He died quietly;

He is still in my memory!

He asked me to buy tea for him daily;

I will feel sorry for his poverty!

Anwarul Azim died miserably;

He will live in my memory!

Rebels make noises;

Who cares for their voices?

My friend was living hungry;

He lived without money!

Still he was a revolutionary;

The brave died in a nasty country!

Heron Gongo supported the man morally and financially;

Dedicated hearts are only one, two or three!
