Anything For Me - Poem by Robbie Squires

Seems like a real long time
Since the last time I saw you
A couple hours ago you were in my mirror
And now you’re here but I found you
And it’s good to know that when I get cold
There’s always someone there to refill me
Oh yeah it’s like a disease
But please mama, please don’t call the police
Ill do anything for you
Anything for me
But please mom just keep me free
I live the low life of an addictee

Now everyday without her is hell
To get her back I gotta find something to sell
And even when im alone
I still have someone beside me
I live the hard life of an addictee

Pawning off guitars, pawning off my guns
Pawning off every damn thing that I can find
It seems so dumb and selfish
But I know I need her in my life
A lot of people often ask me
Whattya gonna do with a kid and wife?
Well im gonna run away
And find some guy to pay
So he can give me my shit
Then ill lay down, hit the herb, tap the sauce
Sit around for a while until I feel lost
Then ill do some more and a little bit more
And then ill do the most
And ill sit there and wait to die
Via my overdose
