I follow
Because I know
That sitting underneath is you
So hollow
And I can't bear to see you cry your sorrow

I would take a lightening bolt to see you smile
For a little while
No more sitting on that bench to cry
No more sad eyes
I just want to make you happy
Even for a little while

I'd take a bullet to the chest if it meant it wouldn't touch my heart
Just to make sure my love for you didn't get ripped apart
And every moment that I lived looking at my scar
I'd smile at the thought of how special you really are

No more pain for you sweetheart I promise, I love you
I would do anything to bring a smile to you
