Apathetic Poem by Eman Awad

Apathetic

If that is what i am, how can i change,
if that's what you are, how can i change for you?
Maybe it feels like fate's arrange,
but that's how it started, not how it's through.
I wouldn't let you go if it's my choice,
i'll be in love with you forever if i may live that long.
But if says so my poems not my voice,
maybe for i'm feeling like this is not where i belong.
I don't care, i'm leaving,
maybe if we have a chance we will know.
I'd stay if you're believing,
that i'm the one and your love will grow.
But you won't care unless you lose me,
you lost me, let's see how apathetic you'd act now.
It was all a waste of time eventually,
we've to go on seperate ways and never ask how.
You have to care about my heart,
so that you'd make me care about yours too.
I'd rather be happy if we're apart,
than lose interest every time you say we're through.
